Thank you for praying. It is good to be home for a short time to rest up and prepare for our June mission to Albania and Slovenia.
We had a wonderful time at Adult & Teen Challenge USA convention in Dallas, Texas and then ministry with Darren & Heidi Walker at ATC Dallas.
We're so grateful to Gary & Debbie Blackard and the team at the ATC USA National headquarters for this incredible gathering. It was amazing to reconnect with friends and TC leaders we have worked with over the last 45 years. More than that, it was even more thrilling to meet an emerging TC generation of new servant leaders with a heart for the LOST and the POWER of the Good News. |

ADULT & TEEN CHALLENGE USA CONVENTION |

ADULT & TEEN CHALLENGE 2024 North America CONFERENCE
MAKING ALL THNGS NEW
Almost 500 staff, leaders and students from TC Centers across the USA and Canada with some truly
incredible trailblazers gathered to learn and celebrate.

|
 |
Adult & Teen Challenge USA Pres./CEO Gary Blackard presented awards for leaders in attendance with 20-40 years of experience. What an honor to receive our legacy awards (over 40 years)from Brother Gary and be honored to stand on the stage with great leaders like Michael and Cindy Zello.
Dana and Dr. Randy Rowe, Keith and Candi Jackson (Hawaii TC)Teen Challenge leaders and ATC USA's own Allan Turley. |
Michael and Cindy Zello lead TC in Virginia and Michael is Northeast regional rep for TC USA. His dad, one of my real mentors, Mike Zello served TC over 60 years and played trumpet for David Wilkerson on the street. His mom Kay was on one of the first evangelism teams. He & Cindy continue to minister powerfully
What an amazing family legacy! |
 |
 |
Dr Randy Rowe and his wife Dana serve Northern California/Nevada and also serve with Global TC. We have known them for decades. Our TC National choir visited Rocky Mt TC through the years. Dana's dad, Royce Nimmons, Exec. Dir of TC Rockies and Wyoming gave me a pair of cowboy boots when ever we would visit. Not only do we remember Dana as an anointed teenager she is now a powerful woman of God.
I have worked with Randy in Africa and India.
|
Other legacy recipients Candy and Keith Jackson have served faithfully in Hawaii and Alan Turley … Well, he's Allen Turley, faithfully serving ATC.
Cathy and I had a wonderful time, not only ministering on evangelism and sharing … But also meeting so many old friends and new faces at our "GLOBAL MAINLINE" evangelism booth. |

Enthusiastic praise and powerful worship highlighted the plenary sessions of the conference. "Free Worship" from Chicago-land did an amazing job of leading us into the presence God through praise, worship and prophetic prayer. |

POWERFUL LEADERS |
 |
 |
 |
 |
 |
The line-up of breakouts & plenary speakers covered the entire spectrum of need, from ministry basics to critical insights into personal integrity and hearing the voice of God. One word came through clearly all week-. "We need to know & hear GOD!" |
|
 |
 |
 |
 |
 |
The keynote speakers, brought such diverse, balanced and timeless insights as they shared the never-changing gospel in an ever-changing world. From Al Toledo, who encouraged us to pray for the rain of God, to Jo Saxton ministering on how to live and lead in times of change. There was something for everybody. Lance Witt's message on the balance of humility and godly ambition was extremely timely.
 |
Pastor Gary Wilkerson continued the powerful ministry of his father (and our founder) David Wilkerson, communicated the urgency of deepening our relationship with God. We cannot find our "fulfillment" in ministry or people pleasing, but in our relationship with the Father. Forget self-doubt… You are valuable to God.Dr. Henry Cloud reminded us that the foundation of our walk is trust.
|
Pastor Tim Dilena, (remember his dad in the movie "The Cross & the Switchblade" was the police officer that said to the policeman who wanted to shut David Wilkerson down, "Let the preacher speak.") That legacy of the Dilena family continues because he spoke powerfully about being able to hear God's voice. He heard God's "NO." His teaching on "bad math" showed how the combination of God's command and your obedience always delivers multiplication. I encourage you to go to the website to look at all of these messages.

MINISTRY at ATC DALLAS |
After an amazing week at the Hilton Anatole for the Adult & Teen Challenge USA Conference, we stayed on to minister at ATC Dallas and had an amazing time with Daren and Heidi Walker. Their center is full and the men are so hungry for God. |

Many men confessed faith in Jesus and others received the Baptism in the Holy Spirit. It was a wonderful time! |

Do you know your "AOR?" |
|
 |
 |
"Encourage one another daily, while it is yet called today lest you be hardened by the deceitful glamour of sin. you shall receive power with that, the Holy Spirit has come upon you and you shall be my witnesses.
Hebrews 13:3 |
I spoke with the Navy captain on Memorial Day weekend. We discussed his recent deployment. He shared that as they were wrapping up their mission, headed for their final port of call in France, command communication came in the middle of the night advising,
“Turmoil in Middle East [stop] Deploy to Eastern Mediterranean immediately.”
Frustration that they were not headed to shore leave or home, was tempered by the urgency of their orders --after all this is what they trained for-prepared for. They powered across the Med, confident that they would finish the mission and soon be heading home. The orders meant they were missing trick-or-treat with their children, another 30 day extension meant they would miss Thanksgiving with their family. In December, they learned that they would not even be home for Christmas.
The captain did not allow discouragement, distraction, or disappointment to hurt moral or divert them from their mission objectives. He gathered the entire crew - sailors, seamen and officers, to announce a modification of the rules of engagement.
He assigned each person on board an AOR -An area of responsibility. He established a 25-foot personal perimeter making every crew member responsible to see, encourage, and support anyone in that circle. He declared, “We all have a duty to ensure that morale does not break down, operational preparedness does not lag, and mission readiness is NOT compromised.
While that AOR was a powerful and creative command decision for our Naval Capt., we too have an AOR. Heb 3:13 says, "Encourage one another daily, while it is yet called today lest you be hardened by the deceitful glamour of sin. |
|
|
Heb 12:12-14 instructs us to “strengthen the hands that are weak and the knees that are feeble… So that the limb which is lame may not be put out of joint, but rather be healed, and concludes the thought in verse 15… See to it that no one come short of the grace of God…. In these days of stress, turmoil, and temptation, at a time when the very foundations of our culture and our faith are being shaken, there has never been a more significant time to know our AOR and encourage one another. |
Our AOR doesn’t just extend to Christian brothers & sisters but every life in that perimeter - the lost, lonely discouraged -those who we can touch every day.
The Pharisee asked Jesus, “Who is my neighbor?” Jesus reminded him, any weary traveler, taken captive, beaten, wounded and left for dead on the road… They are our neighbor. They are in our AOR. |
We have our
AOR - so GO !
... Recognize,
... Encourage,
... and Reach. |
|
When covenant people ignored the need, a Samaritan took responsibility to stop, dress his wounds, care for him and tell the innkeeper, “Do whatever he needs, I will be responsible.”
All of us who know Jesus are on a mission—We are covenant people with a responsibility.
Did someone promise you adventure , unstoppable blessing, or never-ending revelry at port-of-call? Now you feel like you face one detour after another? Don’t be discouraged!
WHO IS IN
YOUR AOR
TODAY? |
|
The captain of our salvation had already issued orders.
Jesus gave the commission (Matt 29:19).
Never confuse updates from command, with a detour.
~~"the Holy Spirit had prevented them from preaching the word in the province of Asia at that time.~
~(Acts 16:6)~
Be ready for the battle. After all… This is what God called you for.
|
What is YOUR state of Mission readiness?
Do you know a brother or sister that is struggling?
Find a wounded traveler on this journey of life and share the Good News.
Who is in your AOR TODAY?
We have our AOR- GO !! Recognize, encourage, and reach. |

PRAYER REQUESTS |

PARTNER
PRAYER
FOCUS
Again I say
unto you,
That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask,
it shall be done
for them of
my Father which is in heaven. |
|
Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we can ask or think according to the power that works within us, to him be the glory in the church and in Jesus Christ to all generations forever and ever. AMEN
Ephesians 3:20-21 |
1) ATC USA National Convention Dallas
Please pray for the 500 tremendous Teen Challenge leaders who gathered for the ATC USA North America convention and the many centers that they represented.. So many powerful young staff and visionary leaders. Pray that God will anoint them to carry the principles that they learned back to their cities in the United States in Canada to impact the lost.
2) ALBANIA -SLOVENIA
Please pray for our upcoming missions to Albania and Slovenia. Good connections, flights, no problems with customs as we are taking some materials in for the ministries.
Pray for our ministry with the staff and students and the major outreach next Wednesday with Albania for the “international day of drug abuse.”
3) PORT AU PRINCE: HAITI
Please pray for the families and ministries of the 3 missionaries brutally gunned-down by a gang in Port au Prince, Haiti.
State representative Ben Baker tells us his son-in-law Davey, Lloyd were killed as they continue their work as full-time missionaries. Continue to pray for the safety of the Teen Challenge centers in Port of Prince as well.
4) PRAYER for ISRAEL !
Please pray for the peace of Jerusalem. As the unrest in the north continues to worsen and forest is fires are raging from recent drone attacks, TC leaders in Israel are continuing to work tirelessly to bring the good news.
5) TC WORLDWIDE PRAYER & PRAISE
Please pray for a special anointing this Thursday for TC Worldwide Prayer, and Praise as our family joins us LIVE! …. Our 4 children, wives husband, and nine grandchildren Live to encourage TC families
6) Please continue to pray for TC in Ukraine. As many of you may have seen on Facebook, another fine young man has lost his life in the conflict.
6) FOR TC BURUNDI
For Teen Challenge Burundi (East Africa) as they complete the building of their training center and prepare for opening in late June. They still need beds, mattresses, furnishings and many other items as they prepare to open this new center. The construction of this facility has been nothing short of miraculous as Burgundy is one of the poorest countries in Africa and got a supernaturally provided roofing, bricks and even when the rains destroyed the structure when they could not get it roofed in the students have pulled together to rebuild those walls and stay on track.
7) Healing Prayer
Cathy & I appreciate your prayers as I continue to battle. I've recovered from my recent eye surgery. Some of you know I fell down the steps in Poland but my shoulder and knee are improving every day and we are excited to move forward on our upcoming missions. The enemy cannot stop us! We are trusting God for full recovery of my lungs. Doctors are still unable to identify a protocol to eradicate the parasites in my lungs, I will have my next CT Scan in July.
They may not know, BUT GOD KNOWS.
So grateful that "Jehovah Has the Final Say!" By HIS STRIPES I AM HEALED!
8) Mission SOS Lubambashi Congo, DRC
We are preparing for a return to CONGO with with MISSION SOS in the fall. We are building a multi-national TC Africa evangelism team to work on the streets, in schools, and Muslim Sober Houses as we partner with Johannes Amritzer and MISSION SOS. Please pray for provision and strategic insights as we reach out to new leaders in Zambia, Rwanda and other surrounding countries and for the needed finances and anointing in miraculous ministry.
|
9) VISION & WISDOM
Please pray for wisdom for our travel schedule through 2024. Thanking God that He will lead, guide and order our steps to the places He wants us to be.
We appreciate those who pray for us. As you have seen from the schedule, we face an incredible challenge with the number of trips back to back this year. But the opportunities were so significant and ministry needs were so compelling that we really felt led to step out in faith. Please pray that the Lord will speak to the hearts of people who will help to sponsor these flights.
10) IN OBEDIENCE TO GOD'S WORD . . .
“First of all, then, I urge that entreaties and prayers, petitions and thanksgivings, be made on behalf of all men, for kings and all who are in authority, so that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and dignity. This is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.” ---
